The Story

Building. Breaking open. Returning.

The work I share now did not begin as a theory. It emerged through a life of discipline and creation, the collapse of much that I had built, and the long process of finding a truer centre from which to begin again.

01 · Building

Learning to move, create and carry responsibility.

The athlete

My earliest education came through elite sport. Training began early, repetition was constant, and the body gave immediate feedback. I learned discipline, pressure, endurance and the difference between wanting an outcome and building the capacity to hold it.

The ocean was part of that education too. It taught rhythm, humility and responsiveness — that force is not the same as alignment, and that conditions must be read before they can be moved through.

The wider world

Music, festivals, travel and cultural exploration opened a different part of life. They brought friendship, pleasure, freedom and a sense of how much human experience could hold.

Those years also revealed the power of environments: how music, design, story and shared intention can change what people feel is possible.

The founder

I moved into entrepreneurship, brand and technology with large ideas and a strong appetite for creation. I helped shape projects including the original City Cave identity and built Wanderlust: The Travel Tribe, an ambitious travel technology platform.

I learned how vision becomes product, narrative, teams and systems. I also learned that external capability can grow faster than the inner capacity required to carry responsibility well.

02 · Breaking open

When the structures failed, the deeper questions began.

The rupture

Burnout, broken trust and failed projects dismantled the life I knew. The identities that had organised me — athlete, founder, builder and creator — no longer provided a stable centre.

What felt like failure also revealed how much of my life had been built from momentum, ambition and unresolved patterns rather than from a clear relationship with what was true.

The awakening

In Barcelona in 2018, while walking alone, I asked a question that opened into an experience I can only describe as spiritual awakening. It changed the foundation from which I understood myself and the world.

I do not present that experience as proof for anyone else. It was real for me, and it began a much longer process of learning to distinguish insight from embodiment, revelation from interpretation, and spiritual understanding from the daily work of living it.

The years away

The following years were shaped by meditation, research, spiritual enquiry, community, relationship, travel and direct experience. I studied across consciousness, archetypal systems, wellbeing, technology, ecology, economy, governance and community life.

At first these appeared to be separate interests. Slowly they began to recognise one another as dimensions of one living system.

03 · Returning

Coming home to what the work was always asking of me.

Family

My relationship with Nina and becoming a father to Delphi changed the scale of the enquiry. Ideas about the future became questions about the life we were actually creating, the relationships holding it, and the world our daughter would inherit.

Family brought the work out of abstraction. It made presence, responsibility, livelihood, place and belonging inseparable from any larger vision.

Home

Returning to Australia in December 2025 was literal and symbolic. I came back with less interest in proving the scale of the vision and greater clarity about its centre.

What had looked like many projects became one movement: from Self, to We, to the Whole — from inner remembrance into relationship, culture and practical form.

The work now

Today the work has three expressions. Through Shane Williams, I write, develop frameworks and work privately with people seeking clarity. Through Frequency Vision, meaningful projects become coherent brands, platforms and systems. Through Frequency, the larger mission is becoming shared infrastructure for regenerative life.

I do not regard this as a finished doctrine. It is a living body of work, shaped by experience, source teachings, careful research and the ongoing test of whether an idea becomes more truthful and useful when lived.

I have come to believe that who we are cannot be separated from how we relate, and how we relate cannot be separated from what we build.

The work is to let each become a truer expression of the other.
